Our Process

Opportunity & Finance

Spectris’s parent company, GPCE, own 100% of its investments in solar and wind renewables and are expanding rapidly. Virtually all GPCE’s projects, from all-new initiatives to mergers and acquisitions, are assessed and executed by Spectris.

Concept & design

The dataset for renewables is not static and creating bespoke concepts and designs to suit national and regional politics, agendas and infrastructures is core to our process.

Scoping, scheduling & due diligence

Once a contract is secured, we identify the best talent in the region, incentivise them for their total commitment and then network and time-line those skills into our in-house specialist team.

Engineering

Our long-established team has a formidable skillset in both solar and wind engineering going back to the birth of the renewable sector. We welcome difficult engineering challenges and have the best brains in the business to tackle them.

Procurement & supply lines

Understanding the componentry business, having the best of supply relationships, particularly in China, and ensuring a seamless provision of top-quality materials is central to our offering.

Project management & construction

We have an in-house team of over 40 experts who between them deliver every aspect of construction and optimisation, from site preparation and infrastructure to full system install and final security and communications.

Optimisation & security

Spectris uses a ground-breaking analytics business, also owned by GPCE, to analyse and optimise plant efficiencies, secure power supply and maximise the return on investment using our own software programmes.
